Here I am trying to balance 10 liters of water on my head- the grandmama that is carrying this lives on the other side of the mountain and does this everyday for her family to have water.
I agree- the mountains were just spectacular and they changed about every 5 minutes- we all have a zillion pictures - all slightly different-and then to get to walk up into the mountains and meet the people that live there- WOW As primitive as the mountain was I have to say there was a serenity and beauty 'feeling' that just made me relax and feel calm. I guess there must be a balance between all of our stress-laden lives in the US and the peacefullness of the mountains? It is difficult to describe- but I bet my blood pressure went way down while we were on the mountain!

HESC 1010 This pictures of the mountains were spectular and I just love the picture of you, Mrs. Kathy, trying to balance that basket. If that was me, it would look like a mudslide from where I spilled all the water. Again, I think the work that you do in other countries is wonderful and I hope to get to travel in the future with you.

How where you able to balance the basket of water on your head?
Look closely at the picture- I could not balance the water on my head- I couldn't even stand up straight.
That photo is amazing. I would love to be able to look out my front door and see that view.
