What is the Game lodge? It looks like a back yard here in Louisiana.
You must really love your work to go for your summers like this. Would love to learn more about this type of work. It all sounds like a lot of fun and work.

A Game Lodge in Africa has rooms, or cabins, dining areas, usually a large fireplace for everyone to sit around and chat, and then early mornings, and late afternoons, your safari van takes on a 'game drive' where you see lions, kudu, ostrich, wildebeast, water buffalo, hyena, wart hogs, elephants, giraffes, and a million other animals oh and zebra- all just living together and grazing, or chasing each other like they are playing tag (or lions feasting on zebra). The game lodge in Namibia was totally open so animals wandered up into our front yards, etc... There were only plant eating animals this time! We got to feed the ducks, and watch the guinea fowl, and chickens and roosters- really interesting.
The work is fabulous! My dream was to work for CDC one day, but then I got married , had children and chose to be a stay-at-home mom. So, after our children were grown, I went back to work and ended up doing this in addition to teaching - of which I love both. And, since I am a consultant for ASCP, we work with CDC to provide workshops, etc...so after many years,I am finally working (indirectly) with CDC! Locations are sometimes not
5-star, and sometimes we work 17 hour days, but the people we meet are terrific and together we are making a difference in healthcare for people who need it most!! What a great opportunity!

I know that I am the oldest student in the world just deciding what I want to do in life ( had 2 girls and stayed at home until they were old enough to stay at home by their selves) nursing was my second choice. I would love to do what you are doing, traveling around the world helping people who really need it and making a real difference. You sound like you really enjoy your work.
All three of us are doing the nursing courses together hopefully one day we will graduate together and work together. They keep trying to get me to switch to Northwestern but I have to work and don’t have time to travel all over to get my education.
